We have a Hunter Landau 20 on a trailer for sale. All she needs is her blue gelcoat to be polished up and a new cockpit cover fitted to the framework. Her Mariner 50hp engine runs well and she’ll be a fantastic boat for someone.
“The Hunter Landau 20 is no ordinary motor cruiser, her designer David Thomas has come up with lots of innovative ideas which make her very special.
The hull which the designer calls a side wall trimaran makes the vessel easily driven and therefore more fuel efficient, as it results in less wake than conventional hulls found on other motor boats. Another benefit of the hull design is the ability to move easily onto a plane, and the better handling in choppy waters.
On deck one will appreciate the wide side decks which make going forward safe, unlike some boats , and also the wide fore deck with its anchor well. The fore hatch can be opened to provide more ventilation.
The cockpit which is self draining offers seating for up to four persons, the two helm seats are reversible. There is a large ventilated locker built into the cockpit sole which is ideal for fuel storage.”
